South Shore Irish Music Festival

DSC_0548We had ourselves a fabulous time at this Irish Music Festival, the weather was beautiful and the music was loud!

Friday night we went to the Farmer’s Market held at the fairgrounds, we met a very nice lady who was a clown and fellow face painter.  She came and joined us for a while on Saturday afternoon.

Colleen from our Santa Camp came and joined us for a short time too.  She picked up some of our balloon making equipment, so she and her friend Karen can try their hands at making balloon animals. We wish them luck.

Little Bit is the Clown we met and she is a very nice lady, we will enjoy working with her in the future.

Another new friend is Karen, she ran the Carnival toys and such tent next to us. She was a lot of fun when we were given the chance to talk to her.  We helped her pick up after the event was over, as she had a long ride home.

The bands were lively and it was great to hear some good Irish music.  We hope to go again next year.

Mutt Strut in Manchester, NH

DSCF2182This was a great event with even more vendors then last year. We were busy and met some nice folks.

We had some fabulous grilled cheese sandwiches from a vendor there.  We even won a gift card for a restaurant which was great for an evening out.

The Manchester Animal Shelter raised a good amount of money that will help many  dogs, which is great!!!

Hope to see you there next year! Remember our four legged friends!

Hooksett Old Home Day September 15, 18

DSCF2174Wow, it is that time again for Hooksett OHD, we enjoy this event and here it is. We had beautiful weather and did lots of designs.

We were set up near new people this time, but our friend Judi Farr came and found us.

We were there until past dark, still doing designs when the fireworks started. lol

Tomorrow we are at Mutt Strut in Livingston Park, Manchester, NH.  It is always a fun event that helps our four legged friends.

South Shore Country Music Festival

Wow, what a music festival, it was a lively event after 3 pm.  One thing I wasn’t crazy about was we were in the middle of two stages and it was weird at times.

We met some very nice folks and painted young and young at heart.

We were surprised at the  mess that was left behind, some people need to use a trash can.  I prayed that everyone made it home safely.

Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival

Wow, what a fabulous place for a Festival, the music was awesome and festival goers were so nice!

We had perfect weather, Thursday was a little stuffy, but overall it was a great event.

We were able to relax as well as be busy up till the dark of night. The bands were fun and provided us with beautiful background sounds.  Sister Sadie’s lead singer came over to us and received an eye design that I added extra bling to. Nova from a belly dancing group came to us as well for her transformation as Dorothy from Wizard of OZ for a fundraiser that she was going to be involved with.

Nova even came back the next day to tell us the other dancers were envious of her designs and she wanted to tell us that we would be their official face & body painters for events that we can attend.

We talked with Mike and Jen the owners, they want us to come back next year, we are looking forward to going. 🙂

Our next event is Southshore  Country Music Festival in Marshfield, MA. Come listen to some great music and be painted or glittered up. 🙂

Bass Pro Hunting Classic

We were here at Bass Pro in Hooksett for their Hunting Classic painting and doing glitter tattoos for the children and young at heart.

We had a good time and stayed dried too.

Next week we are heading over to a special camp so stay tune to see what we are up to next.

The last week in August and first weekend in September we will be in Brunswick, ME at Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival.  We will be listening to great music, enjoying the fresh air and designing up a storm of cute and wild faces or arms or who knows, more belly bumps. So come back and check us out.  Enjoy your August!

Belknap County 4H Fair

What a lot of fun we had at this event, Friday set up and we listened to some good music. Saturday was busy, painting many faces and doing many glitter tattoos, watching some of kids take care of their animals and having fun.

Sunday was on the wet side, but we were still having fun and doing designs. We listened to music, watched kids receive rewards or get prepared for the next event.

Off to bed now, see you at the next event!

Wilton, ME Blueberry Festival

Wilton Blueberry Festival was a wonderful event, we met some great folks and painted some blueberries.  We had some yummy food and picked 14 lbs of blueberries on Sunday.

We were wet and slow on Saturday as it was pouring rain most of the day. This didn’t stop the parade going on and it was a fabulous parade too!! We loved to watch the Shriners in their go carts they were having a lot of fun sloshing through the rain soaked streets. They were driving small motorcycles, small semi, and cars they were great!

Everyone that was in the parade and the ones that watched the parade should be very proud that they stuck  it out, I know we were happy that they did.

The water ski show in the evening still went on, because after raining all day long it stopped raining by 4:30 pm go figure, lol

The team that water skied and the ones that drove the boats were an awesome group!

We will come back next year, hopefully with better weather for Saturday,  we still had a good time!

Next weekend is the Belknap County 4 H Fair in Belmont, NH come and get your design on!! Hugs!!

Band Camp at Thomas Point Campground

This was fun, relaxing and lots of laughs. We had a great time, painted a lot of faces, arms, legs and even bellies.

The bands were great and the artists that painted on large wooded easels.  There was a kids tent with slime and painting rocks. The kids had a parade that made lots of noise out of kitchen things and other instruments.

We did get wet Friday Night and Saturday night, but it didn’t win,

So come next year to a great little family campground and enjoy the music, the smiles and the love!!

Next weekend is Wilton, ME Blueberry Festival, come enjoy some blueberries and be painted or tattooed!
