South Shore Irish Music Festival

DSC_0548We had ourselves a fabulous time at this Irish Music Festival, the weather was beautiful and the music was loud!

Friday night we went to the Farmer’s Market held at the fairgrounds, we met a very nice lady who was a clown and fellow face painter.  She came and joined us for a while on Saturday afternoon.

Colleen from our Santa Camp came and joined us for a short time too.  She picked up some of our balloon making equipment, so she and her friend Karen can try their hands at making balloon animals. We wish them luck.

Little Bit is the Clown we met and she is a very nice lady, we will enjoy working with her in the future.

Another new friend is Karen, she ran the Carnival toys and such tent next to us. She was a lot of fun when we were given the chance to talk to her.  We helped her pick up after the event was over, as she had a long ride home.

The bands were lively and it was great to hear some good Irish music.  We hope to go again next year.

Mutt Strut in Manchester, NH

DSCF2182This was a great event with even more vendors then last year. We were busy and met some nice folks.

We had some fabulous grilled cheese sandwiches from a vendor there.  We even won a gift card for a restaurant which was great for an evening out.

The Manchester Animal Shelter raised a good amount of money that will help many  dogs, which is great!!!

Hope to see you there next year! Remember our four legged friends!

Hooksett Old Home Day September 15, 18

DSCF2174Wow, it is that time again for Hooksett OHD, we enjoy this event and here it is. We had beautiful weather and did lots of designs.

We were set up near new people this time, but our friend Judi Farr came and found us.

We were there until past dark, still doing designs when the fireworks started. lol

Tomorrow we are at Mutt Strut in Livingston Park, Manchester, NH.  It is always a fun event that helps our four legged friends.

South Shore Country Music Festival

Wow, what a music festival, it was a lively event after 3 pm.  One thing I wasn’t crazy about was we were in the middle of two stages and it was weird at times.

We met some very nice folks and painted young and young at heart.

We were surprised at the  mess that was left behind, some people need to use a trash can.  I prayed that everyone made it home safely.

Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival

Wow, what a fabulous place for a Festival, the music was awesome and festival goers were so nice!

We had perfect weather, Thursday was a little stuffy, but overall it was a great event.

We were able to relax as well as be busy up till the dark of night. The bands were fun and provided us with beautiful background sounds.  Sister Sadie’s lead singer came over to us and received an eye design that I added extra bling to. Nova from a belly dancing group came to us as well for her transformation as Dorothy from Wizard of OZ for a fundraiser that she was going to be involved with.

Nova even came back the next day to tell us the other dancers were envious of her designs and she wanted to tell us that we would be their official face & body painters for events that we can attend.

We talked with Mike and Jen the owners, they want us to come back next year, we are looking forward to going. 🙂

Our next event is Southshore  Country Music Festival in Marshfield, MA. Come listen to some great music and be painted or glittered up. 🙂
